With more than 35 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, Jim Patton is dedicated to helping his clients meet their financial objectives. He focuses on retirement income planning and developing wealth-building strategies designed to allow you to make informed decisions about preserving, growing and transferring your wealth.

His extensive background in investment consulting allows him to provide personal advice and investment strategies to seek to ensure your wealth continues to work to allow you to enjoy the life you want to live in retirement. All recommendations are coordinated with your other professional advisors, such as your attorney and accountant before being implemented.

Jim is experienced in advanced investment and wealth-building strategies employing a systematic approach to identify issues that apply to his clients, such as asset allocation, tax-saving strategies and estate planning.

Prior to founding ChasePark Financial, Jim was a Senior Vice President at Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm to Wells Fargo Advisors, and a Vice President at Smith Barney. He has extensive experience and training in financial planning, including retirement, managed accounts, mutual funds and Advisory program portfolios. Jim holds securities registrations in Series 7 and 63. He majored in Business Finance at the University of Missouri – Columbia and completes continuing education requirements on an annual basis.

Outside of work, Jim contributes to his community as the founder of the Santa Monica Beauty Project. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri as one of ten children and is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He lives in Santa Monica, CA with his wife Maryanne.
